Long Term Care Awareness Week was made official earlier this year by the U.S. House of Representatives (HR133). \"We owe a debt of gratitude to Jesse Slome for coming up with the idea and promoting it to Congress,\" says Schwaeber Foster. Slome heads the American Association for Long-Term Care Insurance.
Foster was a featured speaker at a recent AARP national convention; and made a presentation before the American College of Surgeons, engaging them in a program that supports long term care protection. From 1999 to 2004 she was a Regional Sales Manager for General Electric and supervised 20 agents offering long term care insurance.
